Our Ethos
Badgers Holt is a family run residential care home for the elderly, rated outstanding by the Care Quality Commission. For more than 30 years, proprietor Mrs Theresa Rayner has dedicated herself to making sure that residents are treated with dignity, have their needs met and their choices respected at all times.
We would encourage you to come and visit (whenever you like), and see for yourself that this is a truly special environment that allows residents to feel very much 'at home' while being cared for to the highest possible standard.
Our Latest CQC Inspection Report is Outstanding...
The inspection was unannounced and took place on 28 February 2017 and on 1 and 2 of March 2017. Badger's Holt Care Home provides accommodation and support for up to 25 people. At the time of the inspection 24 people were using the service. The five questions CQC ask about services and what they found:
- The service was safe.
- The service was effective and had excellent arrangements inplace for people who were living with dementia.
- The service was outstandingly caring.
- The service provided exceptional person-centred care tailored to people's needs, wishes and preferences.
- The service was exceptionally well-led.
